Photos - Esther Price

In these photos I took out the candle light to make the focus of the photos the figure.

I like the light and dark of these photos and the feeling of atmosphere. They remind me of the work of CARAVAGGIO and the WRIGHT OF DERBY. I need to research these artists further.

Although the atmosphere and light in these photos works well, I am struggling to continue with work on from these photos. I think that maybe now I have made them too much about the figure and not about the textures and patterns which I much more prefer.

I like how these photos link in well with the runaway apprentice, Esther Price, however I think I need to focus more on her surrounding and the textures that would have been around her.

I need to go back to the mill and look around the apprentice house and see if i can find the room that Esther was locked up in.
