WRIGHT OF DERBY. 1734 - 1797

Joseph Wright has a simular effect in his painting to Carravaggio.
I like the detail of the creases in the fabrics/clothing and the areas of patterns.

I want to focus in on this idea and look back on my photos and take small areas of textures to draw from. This can then be developed into knit.
I also want to use simular colours, quite old and dusty as this fits in well with my mill project and I also love working with these colours.
