Weave deconstruct-construct (with handstitch)

I began to deconstruct my weave that I had made in the last project of this unit. Influenced by the work of Elena Herzog, I cut up my weave and handstitched in back together again.

I think that the builld up in layers is successful and the different materials, textures and colours work well.

I also like the long shape of these samples and would like to create some knit samples in this shape, to break away from the usually square/rectangle shape of knit samples.

- Work by Elena Herzog. I have used handstitch to connect layers and strips, where Elena Herzog has used staples.
