We have now filmed a test for our projection/video. It was really successful. We have found out that having the projector and the camera and the right angle in a dark room stops the projection showing in the background. This is a much easier way of recording than the greenscreen. We have found some good music to go with it and have an idea of what we want the models to do (a slow walk in time to music, perhaps with some poses at intervals.) Frazer has made prints to project onto the clothing. These are a projection of other members in the groups work mixed together to go with our 'PATCHWORK' theme. We found that bright colours worked best when projecting.
My drawings are graphite and neutral colours however this isnt a problem as when digitally mixed with the other groups work it produces colourful pieces. Colour can also be added on digitally after the images are scanned in.
We are going to spend the last few weeks focusing on filming our video and then editing it afterwards. We want to use a few models and edit the video so that it looks like we have a long row of alot of people walking/dancing.
