Experimenting with scale

Here I did a series of drawings from the picture above. I used a view finder and varied the size of this aswell as the size of the paper I was drawing on.

I then combined all these different drawings together to create of picture of different areas from the picture, in different scales.

I think some parts of this piece work bettter than others. Cutting out the paper to reveal another drawing underneath is successful and this reminds me of the reverse applique technique I have used in
machine embroidery.

I find the more detailed areas of this piece (using pencil) work the best as this is the type of work that I prefer.
